We follow the principles of Benedict’s Law, the national allergy safety standard for schools, so please tell us everything — even mild reactions.

Important — our auto-injector policy. As a dance school we are not permitted to hold spare adrenaline auto-injectors — only schools can do this in law, so we can only ever use your child’s own prescribed device. Your child must bring two in-date auto-injectors to every class. If a child at risk of anaphylaxis arrives without their auto-injector, they will not be able to take part in class that day. We know this is disappointing when it happens, and we would far rather turn a dancer away for one session than be unable to help them in an emergency. Please check the expiry dates regularly and let us know when devices are replaced.
