Parental Conduct Policy
The standards that help keep Dance Factory Studios positive, respectful and safe.
Last updated: 2 September 2026Expected conduct
- Support every student positively and respect differences in age, ability, background and ambition. Never ridicule, threaten or place inappropriate pressure on a student.
- Treat teachers, staff, volunteers, other families and venues with courtesy. Aggressive, abusive, discriminatory or intimidating behaviour is not accepted in person, by message or online.
- Raise concerns privately through the studio’s proper contact route rather than during a class, in front of students or through public social-media discussion.
Supporting safe classes
- Provide accurate registration, medical and emergency information and update the studio promptly when it changes.
- Ensure students arrive punctually, appropriately dressed and ready to participate, and are collected according to the agreed arrangements.
- Do not enter teaching, backstage or changing areas without permission. Follow photography, performance, venue and safeguarding instructions.
- Serious or repeated breaches may lead to a meeting, restrictions on access or termination of membership where necessary to protect students or staff.
